The board of directors of DIFG e.V. is elected every 5 years at the general meeting. It consists of the chairman and two other board members as well as the treasurer. The board is committed to the association on a voluntary basis and is supported by the permanent staff of the office.

Professional Background:
- Since 2013 1st chairman of the DIFG
- 2017 – 2017: Event Director of FIBO.
- 2019: CEO of The Mirai, a subsidiary of RSGFGroup (McFIT).
- Since 2019 Scholz is owner of Leisure-Connected, a consultancy for fitness, sports and health.

- Active in the fitness industry for 20 years
- Active for the B2B fitness trade magazine BODYMEDIA and industry event MEET THE TOP since 2008
- Managing partner of BODYMEDIA and MEET THE TOP since 2014
- Active in the physiotherapy industry with a magazine and events since 2017
- Organizer of fithera – business congress for the fitness and therapy industry, as well as the German Health Ball since 2025
- Acting chairman of the DIFG since 2025
Professional background:
- Fitness economist (FH) and sports and health trainer (IST)
- Years of experience as a fitness trainer, course coordinator, and manager of a beach sports facility
- Since 2009, she has been working at IST University of Applied Sciences/IST Study Institute GmbH, where she is responsible for sales and marketing in the fitness department
- Contact person for cooperation partners and training companies
- Passionate winter, water, and mountain sports enthusiast, former competitive swimmer and high diver
